I have a 1967 250sl for sale. It had been sitting in a barn for the last 5 years. Came to Canada from Georgia in 2005. It was originally silver but was painted red some time in the past. It comes with both tops but the soft top, which otherwise looked new, was chewed in two spots by mice. No other damage by mice though. The interior is black and in very good condition. It is a 4 speed and the engine is a 130, 280 engine from a '67 to 72 280 SE. It runs well after we replaced some fuel lines, filter and flushed out the old gas. The body is very solid with only a few, small rusted spots. The lower rear body panel, inside the lower rear wheel wells and about 6 " of the right front floor seam. Paint is smooth and shiny but it's peeling in spots all over the car. All of the instruments and lights work and it shows 28k on the odometer, probably 128k in reality. We replaced a leaky axle seal and replaced the rear brakes, rebuilt the rear calipers. Changed all the fluids. Car drives nice, tires and wheels are in great condition. I am looking for offers above $25,000 USD.
