Insulation Material Inside Long Style Fuel Pump

I am rebuilding long style fuel pump. The small pieces of insulation inside the motor housing, insulating connectors and wires inside, perished.
I need to fabricate them.
What is the best material I should use?
I understand they are submerged in gasoline. The original ones looked like textolite. I can get 1mm thick textolite, but I am afraid I will not be able to bend it.
Can I use 1mm thick teflon? I cannot find information that would confirm 100% that it will work in gasoline.

Hello Pawel, the early, long pumps are dry, no fuel in contact with the motor, so any insulating material will do the job, traditionally Paxoline was used as a base for mounting electrical components

Ye, thank you, I mixed it up - the long one was dry.
Paxoline - it is called "preszpan" here - a cardboard laminate. I had it in mind initially, but then got sidetracked by my mistake.
