New Becker radios, retro style face available

I just came across the new line of Becker radios with the vintage style face plates at Koenigs in Germany.  Not cheap, but they have modern featurs and would look better in our cars than most new radios.

Boy they are sure proud of those things aren't they?

I guess in a world where some of us would mortgage our house to own a new pair of sun visors or some original firewall padding they don't seem that expensive. [:0]

Stumbled on this cross reference the other day, I wonder why they did not repro the Europa?  Just the Mexico? I also can't tell if the nav. is spec'd for U.S. or just for the European market.  How would that be for a bit of irony.  A Mexico that only works in Europe. I assume they did their market research.

Best,

Thanks for that post, Greg. Considering it has Bluetooth, Navigational Capabilities, mp3, etc. the price is probably not at all out of line. I've put about 1,100 miles on my car in the first year of owning it so it probably wouldn't warrant that kind of investment and technology.

Although sexy to think about, Bluetooth and a Nav System are probably the last things I need in my Pagoda. The Becker EII with a stealth iPod connection is working just fine for me.

Check out the rest of the website, they also have "regular" Beckers & Blaupunkt's, 113 speakers, faceplates, etc.

Bookmark worthy.
