Looking to Drive a W113 in Denver, CO Area

My wife has become smitten with the W113 but has never driven one. I am looking for someone in the Denver, CO area willing to spend a short time letting her drive your W113. The intent is not necessarily to purchase your car, but rather to experience generally what the car is like to drive so she can decide whether she would indeed like us to pursue purchasing a W113. I've already begun a good deal of W113 research. Today I became a Pagoda SL Group Full Member. But before I go much farther, it makes sense for my wife to learn if this is truly a car she wants to use. She drove a stick for years but has become accustomed to automatics. So, stick or automatic is fine.

As a full member, you can familiarize yourself with some forum routines by searching for members in Colorado.

You do this by going to Members and then searching for members by location using USA, CO as your search criteria. When you do that, you’ll find there are approximately  37 members. Not all are full, and not all very active. Reach out to a few—even if driving may not be possible, seeing one up close and personal and talking about the vast responsibilities of ownership will be a worthwhile use of your time.

Ken, another option is to look for one for sale say within 200-300 miles of you and go have a look at it and take it for a test drive.  They don't have to know you aren't going to buy it (or maybe you do) but it will give you and your wife an opportunity to look at one closely and drive it.  I see there is one for sale at Worldwide Vintage Autos in Denver.
