Yeah that is a bit of a crazy question. Anything is possible of course but I think if you managed to somehow do it, you may end up destroying the integrity of the Bundt wheels in the process.

You must have wheel covers on hand because good ones are not cheap either.

Have you considered offering a trade? You want wheels to take wheel covers. Someone out there may have OEM steel wheels but would rather have Bundts. It’s a thought…

If you have a 280SL the original steel wheels are the same as the W108 sedan wheels and are not too hard to find. As Michael said, good used wheel covers may be harder to obtain.
But I guess you already know this and you are instead looking for 230/250SL wheels with the 113 part number. That won’t be easy these days.

I have not tried it, but I don't think you can. The Bundt wheels have a center hub that protrudes too far to the outside which will prevent the hubcaps from fitting on the wheels. Also, the outside rim of the forged wheels may not take the hubcap clamps.

As DavidB noted the same size wheels are on the sedans.   Put a wanted ad in your local Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist and you should be able to source 5 of them pretty easily.

Just don't say that they are for a W113 until you have a price   ask for sedan wheels to put winter tires on and maybe you will get lucky and find some aluminum steelies.

Don't pay more than $50 per wheel -  $25 each is a better price

make sure they are straight and check the bolt holes to make sure they are still round and not oval.

Alloy (Bundt) wheels will not hold one piece full size hubcaps or two piece (Dog dish) hubcaps. 14" wheels are available, often on Ebay, for not so reasonable prices :) :)Best of luck.
