The Fritz Nallinger 230SL
« on: November 18, 2023, 00:50:52 »
The Fritz Nallinger 230SL is discussed in an article in the Classic Motorsports Magazine web-site.

This orange car with black hardtop and blue interior was under discussion recently here in these forums.  The Classic Motorsports article sheds additional light on some of the unusual features of the car.

Even though it is technically a car for sale, I thought that, as this article brings to light that car was used for research and development purposes by Fritz Nallinger of Mercedes-Benz and apparently is accompanied by his test drive documentation and recommendations for improvements, mention of the article might merit a place in the Research and Development section.

That kind of provenance most likely means big $$ at auction. Will be most curious to see what it brings.

25 November is the date listed for the auction.

Great money for this car.

Intriguing Grundig radio. I believe that is a late-60s/early 70s unit.
