Light a candle
« on: December 16, 2023, 21:31:20 »
Hi all
Our friend Safet Kupric lost his beautiful daughter Sabina to illness shortly after he attended Pagoda Fest in Chicago. Its a difficult time for Safet. I've told him I will light a candle for Sabina on Christmas day. I'd like to ask the group, not as members but as a community or family to join me and light a candle on Christmas day for Sabina. It doesn't matter what religion you are or where you light the candle. Feel free to post a picture of your candle and a short condolence on this thread.
Thank you all
David

David, thank you for letting us know about this tragedy for one of our own members.

Those who have been longtime members here understand that we are much more than just the cars. We are a village of friends—one that spans the oceans and the miles/kms.

Safet was one of the members that traveled a great distance from Bosnia to come to PagodaFest in Chicago. I enjoyed talking with him about his projects, and really enjoyed seeing all the photos he shared of all the work he’s done on many Pagodas over the past few years.

Safet, so sorry for your loss.

Dear Safet,

We are so sorry for your loss. My wife and I lost our beautiful daughter Kristi, following a brief illness, almost three years ago. There is nothing worse than losing a child. Our hearts are broken and we know the pain that you and your family are enduring now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
