In a repeat of last year, with some new roads and sites, members of the Pagoda Club and the Mercedes Benz Club, are planning to gather at Manchester-by-the-Sea’s Dunkin’ Donuts, 40 Beech St. parking lot, at 10AM on Sunday July 14th, for a pre-tour briefing. Together, we will embark on about a one hour journey to explore Cape Anne’s hidden coves, private beaches, and magnificent ocean views. Along the way, we'll catch glimpses of the secluded enclaves of several of the great oceanfront estates of Boston’s North Shore. The tour will follow the scenic Northshore coastal roads from Manchester-by-the-Sea, through Magnolia, passing by Hammond Castle, and then through Gloucester to Rockport, much like the route we enjoyed last year. As mentioned, we have also added a few new hidden gems to this year's itinerary.
There will be an option for lunch at Woodman’s of Essex for those who care to partake. 119 Main Street, Essex, MA 01929.
