Thermostat Housing Cap Gasket
« on: May 30, 2024, 22:39:36 »
As I reassemble my thermostat housing I'm baffled by how a seal is meant to be achieved between the cap and the base of the housing.
Is there a gasket and/or o-ring that is/are meant to go here? If so, who sells it/them? Nothing appears when the usual vendors' catalogues are searched.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks Dirk......now that I inspect the the actual thermostat, it quickly becomes obvious that the o-ring is normally sold together with the thermostat, hence no separate listings.

Great parts illustration from SLS; must remember that!
