Headlight alternative

Never seen these headlights on a Pagoda before, looks odd.

It looks like they'd need to have a wider part of the front wing (fender) to deal with the indicator lens. But in this pic, that doesn't seem to be the case.
Either way, a NO from me!

I posted this picture before, quite a while ago. Way back in the early 80s, in Germany, one of us guys who regularly met with our SLs had his converted to dual headlights. I think they were off an SE model.

This is it. It would require a recut of the front fender and probably the correct bucket.

It would definitely take some getting used to, visually. Is there any advantage using the twin lights over the original light unit?
