back when Tom Hansen worked at the classic center he informed me that the classic center (at least then)
sourced all of the chrome from an supplier in eastern Europe.

One thing he said is that the supplier they use supplies chrome that has the correct blue hue?

There is an excellent shop in Norfolk, Virginia, called Royal Silverplating. They do a lot of dragsters. Second generation plater . Father was a drag racer, and got into the business, because of the need for chromers. Anyway not cheap, but excellent work. I had some work done by them and highly recommend them.
