Thought you all would appreciate this picture. I don't believe I've posted it. I'm unclear how I found it and I've not located the source -- reverse image searching doesn't seem to do the trick. I have a bit of an interest in the history of US and European cars in the Japan market, especially owing to the unusual and interesting options packages often offered there. Wonder where that roadster is now?

Indeed, I've yet to see a high/higher end Benz of that era built for the Japan market that is RHD. Status thing.

My understanding is that the 300SL, both roadster and gullwing variants, were only ever available in LHD.
