Montecito reference in NY Times

Did anyone catch that article about Tab Hunter in the NY Times on Sunday? There was a reference to 230 SLs in Montecito. Here's the exact quote:

"Nicely kept 230SL's buzz among the old-growth olive-grove roads like hornets. No one pretends that Montecito is Middle America."

Dare I say we are now a bona fide icon?

Didn't see the article, but assuming we are talking about the Montecito in California -- I can attest of at least one "well-maintained 230SL" that often graced its lovely wooded lanes...

(I grew up there -- and was lucky enough to get to toodle around in my future Pagoda in high school... One of my favorite stories is having the Mrs. Elvis Presley at the house and her commenting "nice car...I have a couple of those!" Turns out it was true.)
