Hello,
My 230 SL of 1967 has difficulties with starting the engine. The cold start needs about three turnarounds before starting (runs well after starting).
When the car is hot, and I stop the engine, and start again immediately, the engine starts without problems. But, when the car has been stopped for more then a couple minutes, the engine does not start well. I need to give some throttle. Besides that, the engine runs on four or five cilinders in the first secondes.
Who could help me with this problem? The valves are checked, contact gap is new. Plugcables renewed. Even the bobine is new. The engine is a restored engine from 1964. Engines runs very well. Presure is outstanding.
