Data Card - what's 242?

Anyone know what 242 is on a 1970 280 SL data card? It's not indicated in the database on this site.
Thanks for any insight out there.

Doug,
At
http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~mtor/mbcodedsc.html
I saw a reference to 242 as "spare wheel without tire"
I will also take a look through some of the reference material I have at home tonight to see if I can confirm that.

Doug,
I did some further checking through some other lists and reference stuff I have at home, but could find no other reference to the 242 code other than the link already shown.

Thanks, Jonny. I think the codes changed a bit over the years, so I'm pretty sure it's not "spare wheel without tire" for a Pagoda SL. I'll check with Gernold.

Doug,
are you sure you are not looking at the box "Ausstattung"?

Doug,
I shall be curious to learn what you find out, and where all these lists exist. I do understand what you mean about the codes changing over the years.

As you go into the 70's, 80's and 90's the code numbers are for different things. In the 90's code 242 is for right front seat electrically adjustable with memory feature.

Doug,
I still don't see 242 in our database. Did you ever find out what it is?

Rodd,
I'm pretty sure code 242 is "Driver fitted with spare tire."
(No, I never did find out what that code was.)

Doug,
I like your take on the code. I guess the spare tire is something that comes with an aging car?? Or is that the aging owner??
