Spark plug cross reference chart
« on: May 19, 2006, 01:08:52 »
I found an extensive (Bosch, NGK, BERU, Champion, etc) spark plug cross reference chart brought about by the fact that I can't get Bosch W7DC or W8DC here in Denmark any longer. Claim they are no longer manufactured. ANyway here it is.

I would have liked to upload it as PDF but what was not possible. Could we make other fileformats than pictures available for upload?

I can get Bosch plugs in boxes of 10 each. Almost anything you need. W7DC are readily available but I use W9DC on all engines except those that have full compression and rebuilt injection pumps.
Most of these engines run too rich and W7DC plugs realy are not hot enough for most cars.

I've been running NGK BP5ES for a couple years and the car seems to love them. It appears these are somewhere between an W7 and a W9 Bosch.

Touche! Rodd. I knew of the W8's but for some reason, the experts here always mention either W7 or W9 as the plugs of choice...
