Napa June 4
« on: June 06, 2006, 00:00:43 »
Robert did it again.  Another outstanding drive on the backroads from Napa to Calistoga to St Helena.  Some sections were a nice cruise past rolling vineyards and other parts were like "Pagoda: The Video Game" narrow twisting roads through the woods that took total focus.  Four pagodas turned out, a lot of SLK's and newer cars, and a UFO that had a star on the front but said McLaren on the side...

[:p] Green with envy! Thanks for posting those, Pete. I wish I could have made it two in a row... I took a nice Sunday drive in honor of the Napa group -- but no winery visits!

Thanks James, it was fun.  I thought of you as I made the 2 hour drive to Santa Rosa on Saturday.  I don't think it's much farther to get up to your neck of the woods.  Robert is thinking of a delta or Gold Country drive in the fall.
