DVD-R discs aren't perfect so it's possible that David's might be bad. Generally, older Sony and Toshiba players are not real good with DVD-R discs. Later players, of all makes, have thinner lasers and better control of the beam.
The video is in NTSC as it was produced in the US. If your player is PAL only, (Or SECAM for the FSU) that will be a problem. If any of you have trouble with playback, try it on a DVD-ROM equipped computer or another DVD player. If it's still is an issue, let Dick or me know.
Next time we could do a glass master and press 1,000 discs to avoid all these problems. But the we couldn't do them free.
The good news is that everyone seems to be enjoying the show. I have undertaken the spring upgrade myself and Jim Villers input has been invaluable. After the first install, the ride height is too high but the improvement in handling is striking.
