West Marin Drive

We had a great drive in West Marin.  In addition to cars and driving, the focus was also on collecting food for a picinic at the end.  First we stopped at Rouge et Noir cheese factory.  Then it was on to Hog Island Oyster Farm on Tomales Bay, and then on to Point Reyes for bread, fruit & veggies, and wine.  Needless to say, we had a feast at the end.  Each stop was connected by a winding road through the back country of West Marin or along the coast.

Brings back memories.  Our honeymoon (1972) was a big loop from Santa Cruz to the Sierras and out to the coast via Healdsburg, then down along Tomales Bay to SF, all in our 250SL.  The coast is one of the few things I miss about California.
