seat belts

I have recently bought a 1968 280 SL with no seat belts.  I see the hardware on the internet but am puzzled as to where they are attached as there does not seem to be space behind the seat.  Can anyone help with pictures of verbal description?

If you use the search function you will find several discussions about seat belts.  The one pasted above is particular to your issue of proper placement, although it is for a 3-point version and I don't know if your sl ever came with 3-point.  But if you are retrofitting, that is the only safe way to go in any case.
