Malek,
That 220S looks stunning in the DB519 (med red) over Ivory color.
Three quick notes: The battery cable is disconnected?
The shroud that seperates the booster, battery from the engine seems to be missing.
And the air filter for the carbs.  There's plenty of sand where you live, and hate to see this one get ruined from it.
Keep up the good work!

I just sold the one I've had here for a few years. 1960 220SE with hydrack trans. One of about 1,100 made with the hydrack being the rare option so maybe only 200 - 300 of those built.
I'm still working on the cream 220SE that was at the meeting of the clans last summer as well as two more cars. One is the S model and the other one an SE. Very difficult cars to restore and much more difficult than a pagoda. Actually, the list is 300SL, 190SL and then 220S/SE Cabs from the more modern era. 113's, 111 Coupes and then anything that came after sort of follow along. Anything that has removable front fenders adds greatly to ease of repairs on the front of the car. Cars with coach work type bodies ( all one piece ) are far more difficult to repair.
The older 300S, 220A and 600 are in a league all their own as far as finding parts and having deep enough pockets.

Walter, I am not aware of a shroud for the battery and booster can you by any chance send me a picture if possible and the car is painted med red DB517 on top and creme DB439 on the bottom
