What is the correct length of the original oil level dip stick on a 1970 280SL?
When looking at one of the photos on the Ritz site I noticed that the oil level dip stick end is different than mine. This makes me wonder if mine is correct and whether or not it is the correct length.

Stan,
Did you see this previous dipstick thread?

Note the picture in Joe's post. This give you an idea of how your stick should look, but not it's precise dimensions.

Rodd,
Thanks. I could have sworn that I heard someone say "Hey you dumb ***, didn't we just discuss this?" Now that I see it, I remember reading about the thread. I'll do a search next time.
