As I am about to replace my Vespa, the issue of ownership costs has come to front of mind. My little red Vespa has cost me, all in, about 30pence (55c) a mile. That's fully loaded- depreciation to fuel.
My Pagoda has been in my ownership for one year. I've done 2500 miles.
Assuming no depreciation it's cost me about £1 ($1.80) a mile. OK, I put in a refurb Becker GP and Cranes ignition which are not "consumables".
So.... for them as drive their cars - as opposed to mid-restoration, what's your rough cost per mile of ownership. Please feel free to ignore depreciation
(something tells me that this could go horribly wrong and any sane person would soon be in the market for a three year old low mileage E-class)
