good source for grommets?
« on: January 13, 2007, 17:47:36 »
I need to buy the grommet that goes on the firewall around the brake pedal rod.

I would order one from K&K but typically they have to order these from germany and it takes forever.

Does anyone have any good sources for grommets?
a source that may acutally have them in stock?

Merrill,
K&K sent me grommets right away.  I did'nt even realise they were made in Germany?
I would give them a ring and find out what the delivery time would be.

I have had good luck with Miller's (in North Carolina, or California). Do not overlook the dealer's parts department. I have had good luck (and actually reasonable prices) for a couple of the grommets and rubber pieces I have searched for.

KD,
do you happen to have the part number K&K referenced on the invoice for the grommet?

grommet at the firewall where the brake rod passes thru

cheryl seems to be having a hard time finding the correct part number.
