Spam email pegged from this site

I am a 22 years old lady now, i was born on the 1of january 1983.to the family of Dumas .and my father name is Joseph he is a very wealthy gold and coca  merchant who based in ACCRA   and  ABIDJAN respectively, and  I am there only child.well when i was a kid i went to a private schools and things were going on well for me and my parents till when i was in high school when my mother died  on the 21ST  october 1994 , My father took me  so special because i  am motherless. and he shower all his love on me and promised me that he will never have another woman because he did not want me for any problem.but has fate his my father got dead last year.but before  the death of my father on the 1st of  November 2005 in a private hospital here  in Abidjan , he called me secretly to his bed side and told me that he kept a sum of $10.500 000  in a bank in Abidjan Cote D'ivoire. meanwhile that he used my name as the next of kin in deposit of the fund.He also explained to me that it was because of this money he was poisoned by his business partner and that i should seek for foreign partner in a country of my choice where i would transfer this money and use it for investment purpose, am looking forward to hear from you.

I received the same letter... Sent her my bank routing numbers and received a $10,000,000 deposit within two hours - WOW!  

   Yea right... like that would ever happen - I sure hope that none of my fellow Pegodafiles are naieve enough to fall for this!

I have unceremoniously deleted this member "joy77". I'm sorry for not taking action sooner, I was travelling in the US, and got stuck because of a flight cancellation.

Anyone can register on our forums, but as you all know, you need to provide a mail address and then click on a link to enable it. This will discourage most automated SPAM systems, and bots, but any human being who can follow simple instructions (and you'll be surprised what percentage of the worlds population is eliminated by that requirement) can join our forum. And that is as it should be.

So joy77 joined, and then mailed people. Luckily our "bull" detectors are working well. If anyone recommends you to buy stocks, or medicines, or assures you of lottery winnings or other windfalls, or offers girls or men able to perform amazing personal services on this site or from this site, please delete and ignore it. In short, if it is not SL 113 related, believe it at your peril.

We do not have a function "mail all users" in the forums. I did not receive a message, so I think that the person spamming us did it manually -- which is a lot more effort than Nigerian spammers would typically spend.

I can assure you that the functions I use for mass-mailing reminder notices and so on are well protected (the user needs to login, and only has access with admin privileges, and needs to know a secret password).

In future, just forward any dubious message you receive to admin@sl113.org and I'll take care of it.

Yes, I got the same e-mail. Never before has a Princess ever talked to me: I feel honored! unfortunately, I'm a poor immigrant and ignorant in these financial matters. I should advise her to seek out an attorney. We have one here in town, who handled some funds entrusted to him by a fellow in Alaska, about 12k,and the money disappeared in "unfortunate investments" Maybe he'll do better this time. I have been told, the sure way to make a small fortune, is to start with a big one.
