I did as you described: went to the paperclip, browsed to the image selected, uploaded and waited for the "file received succefully" message, then posted the reply, and the image appeared correctly. So I don't know what the problem could be; perhaps one of the moderators can help out.

Hello bo,

Along with making sure the file is not too big, make sure the Name on the photo is not too big. Certain ways that you label the photo will prevent it from losading. Try changing the name.

Hi bo,
since you believe that uploading had worked for you in the past I am wondering, have you changed browsers?
Remember uploading does not work with Mozilla and Firefox (and perhaps the old Netscape). Try using Explorer, or the latest Safari if you use a Mac. See: http://sl113.com/forums/index.php?topic=12

Hi,

As a rabid    Linux/Firefox/Open Source user, I find the comment that uploading using Firefox doesn't work hard to swallow.  So, here's a photo that I just uploaded using Firefox on Linux:

http://uploaded/davidapease/200742221218_View1.JPG

(It's a recycled photo, that is one I've used before, but it does show how nice black-wall tires look on an early burgundy-colored car with two-piece hub caps.  They just "work" with the black rocker covers.)

Now, I always have to cut the URL out of the upload message and paste it into my own reply text.  Does it work differently with Internet Explorer :x ?

I can confirm what David Pease has described. I myself have to do the same thing (copy/paste the URL from the upload window into my post). I use firefox on both my mac at home, as well as my sun workstation at the office. Minor inconvenience to remain free of M$ crapware....

First things first. Nice Car Bo. I can just imagine you cruising down Highway 101 on your latest road trip!

Now as for pics. I use Internet Explorer and things generally go like this: I click the attachment paper clip, browse for the pic, and then hit upload. It either kicks it back because its too large or takes it. The URL automatically appears in the post. I use the preview button to check things over -- then close window and "Post new reply".
