More Speyer photos
« on: September 08, 2003, 11:15:19 »
Here are most of the photos I shot in Speyer. Due to this site's limit in resolution, the quality is marginal. Some may be published in an upcoming issue of Pagoda World. Also, the German Pagoda Club has a press release, the official number of participating cars, and photos on its website, www.sl-day.de/html/bilder.html

Hello fellow members,

I was in Speyer too but without my SLs. :(
Shot two rolls of pictures, thus, I've got about 70 pics. Have them also on a CD in .jpg format.

There were lots of beautiful cars, some absolutely stunning.
Most impressive are perhaps the overview pictures.

I will try to upload some of them later.

Hello, Kemal,

Naj, You lucky man , how often does that event take place & when ?

There is a Pagode German meet every year, mostly in August.
You have to be a member of a recognised MB club to attend. Since you are a member of the MB UK club now, you could join in. Have a look on the MB club site, events section to see who to contact if you want to go.
The 2003 event was special and very big as it was the 40th aniversary of the W113 launch. Other yearly events are (a bit) smaller. Tosh has posted some pictures of one year when he attended.

Let me know if you're going.
