Russo and Steele sold this one at auction in Monterey. It did look very nice, but that price is not spectacular.
A 1954 Gullwing went for $764,500 which seems a very aggressive price. You can look at the auction results at

I don't know that any of the other several auctions had any Pagodas. I did see Steve McQueen's Ferrari Lusso at Chrities which went for $2.13M!

This stunning nut and bolt restoration, numbers matching, all correct 280 SL has been in a private collection for many years.
