Well, this is a weakness in this M-B front suspension design, which incidentally dates back well into the fifties...
The eccentric camber pin indeed does not
get any lubrication once assembled. As you refurbish this area of your car, apply copper paste
to prevent the pin from becoming siezed with time.

In principle you can, yes, but there would not be a natural "flow" of grease through the area when you grease your suspension,
so I do not think a hole in that part would remedy the problem.
