Automatic Radiator in a 280SL stick
« on: November 22, 2007, 20:41:13 »
Is there any downside to putting an automatic radiator in a manual 280SL. Will I be giving up some cooling surface area? If not, would I just cap off the autotransmission connections and go with it?

Hello,

I have never heard it was an issue. Have done it at times myself.

So the radiator's effectiveness at cooling the engine is not reduced?
