Can I mix two different brands,I need to top up but can not remember the brand I used.  Many Thanks, Mike Rutledge

You shouldn't.

Read the post a page or so down about coolant and how not to drain it.

If you intend to drain and refill - which you should if you haven't done this for a while - don't use the drain plug on the radiator unless you really know you won't shear it off; use the lower pipe instead. Ask me why.
