I posted my 280 for sale last week in our "items for sale" and have not had much interest.  My question is whether or not I have this fairly priced, is it the time of year....or.....?

Opinions appreciated!

Best!

Hi Jay,

I would assume most of the people that participate in this forum already have a car, and, like me, they have a hard time convincing the spouse that there is a really good reason for having two project cars.  You might try other places like The Star, Craig's List, OurSL.com, etc

Jay,

Based solely on your pix, I don't think your asking price is out of line.

Second thought is that although Pete is right that most of us have one car and don't need a second project, there seem to be many lurkers here who aren't members and who are here to gain info on buying their first car.  This is just a time of year when people are recovering from big spending, and the weather in most parts doesn't lend itself to thoughts of motoring.

Good luck; unfortunately, some European will probably re-locate it for you, and there will be one less Pagoda on US roads!  In fact, you might want to advertise in Europe...

I totally would have bought it last year when I was looking. Great color. I'm stuck with mine for the time being.

You can always ebay it.

I'd say wait til summer and park it at Greenlake with a sign on it or up by Microsofts campus.

Yes i would say its a fair price if it includes shipping to uk.
I am one of these lurkers getting to know this model and if right car comes up at budget would make an offer.
you might want to consider selling to a european or even better still a Scotsman

The time of year is also a factor, most people look at convertibles in the spring. Also the economy, unfortunately. People are tightening their wallets.

Sold it today!   Happy and sad at the same time.....hoping the new owner will keep it, though it appears that they intend on continuing the "fix" and then reselling.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

I want to thank all the people here for sharing their knowledge and experience so freely....this is a great place with great people!

Best to all!

Let's see.

Complaining (in a word) about lack of interest on January 23, regarding a posting made a week earlier.[:(!]

Sold on January 30th. :D

Everything should go so quickly! ;)
