Al, Did VDO supply the filled thermal temp gage?  I need a 'joining piece'  that screws into the head(130 016 08 01) of a 280SE/A. The joining piece(per Gernold) screws into the head between 5 and six spark plugs.  The filled thermal bulb goes into the jp and its keeper nut holds it in.  Anybody have one of these?
