Spark plug wires

I figure I need to replace my wires and get some NGK plugs.
1)NGK bp5es the correct plugs?
2) there is a gentleman selling Bosch wires on EBAY for $100 with shipping are these the right ones and resistance?

BP5ES fits, but it may be a bit hot. Standard is BP6ES. Check your plugs and see if you need a colder or hotter heatrange.
In solid core wires, the resistance should be in the caps. They have caps with different resistance, so better check how much resistance the have before you buy.

I have used the BP5ES for several years now. Car seems to like them. I believe they are about equal to the W9DC Bosch. The NGK 6 = the W7DC. As Ziggy mentions, 5s are hotter than 6s.

My M130 engine tends to run rich and the NGK BP5ES do better for me. I think it is all personal preference based on YOUR engine. Try them both and see which works better.

I bought my plug wires from the Classic Center. They were expensive but look really nice and will last a very long time. The Bosch set I have seen everywhere has a 5000 ohm resistor angle boot for the #1 cylinder. All of the other boots are 1000 ohm. The Bosch set is a lot less expensive, but that #1 boot always bugged me.

That wire set is only suitable for carburetted M-B in-line 6 cyl engines (M108 and the like)

I bought two of the Bosch sets and subituted the #1 wire with the #2 wire of the second set.  Now the wires look correct and the resistance in all boots is 1000 ohm.  Have not had a problem with misfiring.

I have the correct wires for 60 bucks. They're 1,000 ohm ends and steel core. Some of the sets out there have carbon core coil wires - that stuff is junk.

Bosch discontinued all their non resistor plugs recently. I was using W9DCo and now I can't get them. I bought up all the remaing W8DC0's that were available - about 70 plugs so I'd have time to figure out a replacement. The W7DC's are too cold for most cars. I go through 2 or 3 boxes a month. Until an engine is broken in it can foul out a lot of plugs.

Hi Dan,
what is the difference between a W9DC and a W9DCo??
What does the "o" stand for, and is it the letter "o" or the number 0 (zero)?
