Can anyone tell me what type of ATF should be used in a 4 speed manual transmission? What is the capacity of the transmission?

I've been using Valvoline MaxLife synthetic without problems.
Takes about 1.4 liters (fill to the bottom of the fill hole).
I used a siphon pump to get it in.
You'll need a new drain plug washer.
