RHD Carpet and Trim Suppliers, Europe

Hi All. This is my first post, but I am sure there will be many more. I have just purchased a UK supplied 1969 280sl RHD Auto.

I am starting to research suppliers for replacement carpet sets and trim covers as I intend to completely re-trim the interior this coming winter.

From my reading of the forum, Gahh seem to be well respected but do not seem to offer RHD option on their carpet. What other suppliers do members recommend, I would be particularly interested in any located in Europe as I am UK based.

Whereabouts are you and do you wanna come to Brooklands to the MB CLub SL day on 10th August?

A couple of us here had Kevin O'Keeffe do our carpets. He's down near caterham. For stock, you might want to have a chat with mervyn at the Merc dealers in Bournemout (Jacksons). He's a great source of MB stock parts for the older cars and they are available from MB, he'll get them for you.

I got mine from SLS and it was just fine. Has a little "SLS" badge on the driver's carpet but I don't mind. They seem to have it done very close to original spec (I think).

Thanks for the info, I'll take a look at all of these.  Do SLS do replacement Seat Covers? I can't seem to find them.

I'm in Portsmouth, but won't be coming to Brooklands, I'm afraid that I really don't do 'Club Days', just not my thing. Plus, we've just bought a motorhome, so we are away quite a lot these days!

Here is another good firm. I've used them for the soft top and can recommend their service and their prices. They seem to have more choice than SLS, who are another superb company. Like SLS, they have people who can speak English.
