I would take a second look at the classic center as recently they have been known to beat even some of the most competitive vendors for some parts.
I agree, they're quite reasonable for certain parts from what I've seen. However, it's good to keep a wide array of vendors in business (selfish reasons-- keep everyone in competition!).
Regarding such an easily worn item as the brake and clutch pedal pads, I would keep the cheapest version for regular use. The nice originals can be saved for whenever the car is to be shown. Unfortunately, James is correct: the accelerator pedal is a PITA!
