I have tried a few searches, and found the list with fairchild, pacific and Hans. I am wondering who has has a good experience with price, time , quality etc.

I have a 250se that I have finally got fairly sorted out but still get flucating fuel economy and I am also getting excess oil fill in the ip case. I just drained with the vac / straw method. From the searches, when people report this most recommend rebuild pump.

I have done the linkage tour a few times and may try again this weekend. My main prob seems to be only getting 10 - 12 mpg ish and it seems to run rich mid to top. I haven't tried the rack adj since I cannot get the plate off. I have adjusted the idle screw and get decent idle, a bit rich on cold start. I am getting the oil build up in the ip crankcase which seems to be a companion to poor economy, more oil seems to richen the mixture and worsen mpg.

My spark is good timing good and plugs one range hotter. It just seems to be burning way to much fuel.

I am in MD, near Baltimore so any local recommendations would be great or places that I can remove and send the pump into for rework.

Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

I'm not sure where fairchild is,   hans is closest to you.  Gus is on the west coast.

If you send the unit to hans, (if you have an IP thermostat) make sure you request the calibration data AND make sure the IP is tested with the IP thermostat installed and working.

IF the IP thermostat is not tested installed, there is a chance the that the IF the thermostat is not working correctly you will get a pump that does not lean out when warm.....
