What has been the consensus on the correct color for Kangol seat belt webbing? In past restorations I have tried hard not to replace the original "Charcoal" or Anthracite color of the webbing, but sometimes it is necessary. There were some links to NOS Kangol auctions posted in the items for sale section recently and some of those auctions seem to show Black webbing (it also has a different weave pattern than the standard found on a Pagoda (for rows per strap). I have heard that there was also a Brown Kangol webbing that was originally delivered on a Pagoda although I have never seem the Brown (unless it was a very light, faded color that I once noticed). Does anyone know if there was a Black that came on Pagodas or does anyone know of a good Charcoal substitute that is available new?
Thanks, Tom Colitt
