Spray pattern of fuel injector nozzles
« on: March 13, 2009, 19:03:35 »
Recently my injector nozzles were cleaned and tested.  The test showed all six had a 180 degree spray pattern as opposed to the 360 degree pattern expected.  Anyone know what the spray pattern is supposed to be.  Cheers Jim

I checked the spray pattern for my injectors at home with a pump.  I got 360 on all of them.  I had to replace 2 due to because they operated at the wrong pressure.

Hello,

The spray pattern is cone shaped and fuel should emerge in a  360 degree circle at the injector nozzle. I am not really sure what the 180 degree pattern refers to with your injectors?
