sunvisor bracket help
« on: April 03, 2009, 18:04:10 »
I unscrewed my sunvisor bracket and can't get it put back together again-i feel foolish, but then again, who ever designed these sunvisors should feel foolish-----------does anyone have a picture that shows how the stem and bracket screw together. I think mine is missing a "hole cover" that goes over the top hole for esthetics. I have one screw and 2 flat washers-and the stem and bracket--i can't figure it out-it won't go back correctly

It involves a bit of fiddling to get it back in.
Make sure the visor is in the down position so you can rock and twist and push(gently) the send of the visor rod with the spring and clip into the cavity of the windshield frame.
Observe the rounded contour of the bracket against the curvature of the padded surround, they should line up and fit snug.
Then the screws hold it in, 2 phillips, short fat screws with the washers.
Take a photo of what you have and we can help from there.
