Ciao From Italy (230SL)

Marco Mannelli, recently joined the Forums, is the owner of a 230SL in Forli, Italy. Forli is about 100 km Northeast of Florence.

Marco sent some photos of the car and the Specifications in Italian.

I've done my best to translate the Specs for those whose Italian is worse than mine.

Also for the sharp eyed fans of Italian market cars, note the distinctive round fender marker found an all Italian version cars is located to the rear of the wheel housing instead the usual position in front of the wheel.

Marco explained that the car was originally sold by a dealer in Germany then later shipped to Italy. When the car arrived and the orange fender disks were added to comply with Italy regulations, the local mechanic attached the disks in the rear position.

Hello,
one small correction in the list of my datasheet:

- SOFT TOP: Color code 720 (Black) indicate with "capote" terminology;
- HARD TOP: Color code 571 H (metallic red) as the body color.

...besides,

the distinctive orange round fender marker of my car, are not the same factured by Mercedes for the Italian Market.
