Why am I such a stickler for originality?
« on: September 26, 2009, 13:20:25 »
A good friend sent me some photos from this website.  When you see these "real-life" fixes and contraptions that people come up with--long on imagination and short on something (money? intelligence?  you decide...) it reminds me of some of the "previous owner" debacles we hear about here.

Enjoy.

Of particular note are some of the automotive related "fixes".

Way off topic, but way on funny. I liked the headlight assemblies that were bolted to the hood with the angle iron strips.

...and this is why it's in the way off topic....

There's also a lot of cars with bizarre wheel substitutes if you back back far enough...

How to trim a high hedge.
I photographed thiis whilst on a back road near home. They say farmers have the highest work accident rates and now I know why.

Garry

My neighbour trims his (and my) hedge like that...

Also picks apples the same way and makes a rather decent cider from them
