Hi Mdsalemi,
I only used ones from scrapyard till the new ones I have ordered
arrive, Thanks for the posts but I tried 68 places here in the U.K
one place in paris,France and OZ they were all (nuts) and bolts
outlets, I also went to truck builders Renault in Wales about 23miles
away and they all were very helpful but with no joy, this is not an
easy thing to order overhere I don't know why, it look a standard nut
to me also. The four New 22mm nuts are costing about $20.00 so not
cheap anyway the only reason for my panic was when a car has an M.O.T
test the items it fails on must be corrected within 14 days or you get charged the full retest fee about $46.00 and they check everything
all over again, but if you bring in it in within the 14days limet they only test it on the things it failed on or didn't comply with
like the sway bar nuts. So what did the castle nuts come off? this
is a more important question! also the M.O.T test guy found the castle
nut on the steering box didn't have a split pin in either, thats now
corrected so is the sway bar and the car now has it's 12month M.O.T
and when the new nuts arrive I WILL put them on.
