Battery cut-off switch

 :oops: I know I know,"always use your SL regularly even in winter"; so of course I didn't and now the clock (which ticked nicely) has drained the battery.
In the past I had a TR6 and for these you could buy after-market switches to isolate the negative battery lead, has anybody used such a thing and where could they be obtained ?

These are available in the Netherlands from a couple of (mail order) suppliers for around $20. Since I have an alarm on my car, which starts howling (and I mean LOUD) when the battery is disconnected, I prefer to keep the battery charged on a trickle charger if necessary.

Hi,
You could try Demon Tweeks in the UK (tel 01978 664466)they sell a mini switch for about £17, part number MW003 which has a seperate "key" so a handy anti-theft device too!
No I don't work for them, but I end up buying a heap of bits from them for my stage rally car!
