soft top rubber strips
« on: October 21, 2009, 22:01:22 »
I attached a picture of strips that appear to go on the soft top at the top of the window.  Has any one installed these and are they needed?  The top looks great but what is the function of these pieces?  They are not installed yet.

Also, the rubber piece on the top frame that stops on top of the chrome hinge cover needs replaced.  Does anyone know where to get them?  The classic center does not have them.
Thanks,
Brad

Check out the soft top installation instructions in the tech manual, it's really good and says how to glue these strips in.  They glue to the underside of the top where it lays on the frame.

I bought all of my new soft top rubber from Millers.  It fit perfectly.
