I'll be replacing the driveshaft flex coupling soon (for the second time, actually), and wonder if anyone can provide a picture or description of how the coupling's bolts and washers are supposed to be arranged.
My copy of the BBB shows an arrangement with recesses in the mating surfaces of the three-pointed flanges, but my car ('69 280 SL) does not have such recesses. The mating surfaces are flat. Last time I faked it and arranged things in what seemed a logical manner, but I'd like to be sure this time.
