You do realise that while doing the dash bulbs, there's all manner of other things you should be doing at the same time... clean the glass, lube the tach cable, lube the heater levers, check the heater core...... ;)

naj was after a set of lhd cocomats, you may want to see if you can add a set to that order: Protect that nice new carpet of yours

Nice looking car Jay. Welcome to the 906 club....

Thanks all...
TWO sets of over mats already ordered!

All the items you mention have been done... the instruments are now back in.. just waiting for some chrome bits to turn up from the USA.

I bought the car privately from a chap who imported it last year... a lot of work went into it so saves me a lot of money and time!

If its an Italian car you may like to change the headlights back to the correct Euro lights and the side marker lights back to the Italian round ones if you can find some along with your other list of items that you plan to do. Explains the no head rests as well.

It looks like a good condition vehicle..

Thanks,

Ill try and look for headlights but im not about to spend mega money as im not planning on entering any concourse competitions.

I dont like the markers at all... if i ever do any paintwork im planning on getting rid altogether.

Yes its a lovely clean car.. the only rust I have found has been when i removed the interior trim where the bonnet release handle is, there is some surface rust on the inner wing but very solid... Looks like a very difficult area to get to... have sprayed some waxoyl over it..

Once some items turn up from ebay USA and germany, ill be able to get my car back together!

Thanks

Jay
