Soft top Lid

Big Favor !

Can someone please take a picture of the underside of their soft top lid and post for me.  In particular, I need to see how the material is cut and glued on the underside front left & right edges.  The front edge is held, or finished off, by use of the chrome trim.  My question is what correct "finish" for the front sides of the underside.
Thank you very much!
Bob  :)

Hi John,

Great!  Thanks for all the pics!  Looks like the material wraps around the lid a bit and glued..
Thanks again!

I know this is an old post but some great pictures here on how this covering is folded over. Stopped by to see Gernold yesterday up here in Maine and asked him about having one done in MB tex. He told me some upholsterers do not like doing this in MB Tex because the Tex has a tendency of allowing the glue to bleed through the backing and not allow the Tex to stick very well. I had exeperienced this myself and was looking for someone to do mine properly. Did you have any luck doing yours and if so, what type glue did you use.
