I've just pressed mine in and it really sits firmly - it's easiest with the hardtop on the floor upside down (on a thick carpet or pillow to avoid scratches), fill in the rear lip into the groove while pressing in the front one with a pointed instrument (not too sharp as it might slip) - it only takes a few minutes to do

You're welcome - hopefully the new seal will also reduce wind noise
Btw - you only need one mate to help put it on, but why not make it into a social event?
